Parroting the disastrous policies of the West, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky calls for “green energy” amid war crisis

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently went from describing alleged war crimes and atrocities committed by the Russian troops to shifting the narrative to climate change.

Zelensky said Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and the rest of Europe is strengthening the need to accelerate green transformation on the continent. “Europe must give up Russian oil, give up as soon as possible because it is the crazy income from energy resources that allows the Russian leadership to be bold, violate generally accepted rules, promote hatred against other nations, against us, and destroy the lives of neighboring countries,” he said.

In reality, however, Europe has been increasing its reliance on green energy sources while limiting the use of coal, giving Russia more control over the energy market.

It is also important to note that the goal of “climate change” promoters is not an energy system that changes the global climate. They are instead moving to create Carbon Tax Trading Systems, a new financial control and monitoring mechanism and a global taxation program to control all human activity at a global level.

The Ukrainian president’s message is similar to that of a recent statement by Klaus Schwab, where he said that there will be systemic and structural changes and that global supply chains, energy and food systems will be deeply affected.

Zelensky’s push to increase green energy funding and output would also help companies like Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas corporation where President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, sat on the board. (Related: Journalist exposes media’s collusion to protect Hunter Biden.)

The younger Biden is currently facing a federal investigation for his connections with shady foreign corporations after he was subpoenaed at the end of 2020. There had been media pundits and politicians who believe that Biden was providing access to his father in exchange for money.

Burisma co-founded an initiative in 2016 to push for “energy security” and focus on “the popularization of alternative energy sources in Europe and worldwide.” With the company standing to profit from the increased reliance on natural gas, it brings to question whether or not the Bidens were simply getting ahead of the curve by getting in on the corporation’s actions before the war broke out.

There is also the possibility that the Biden administration allowed or even instigated the conflict to usher in a new era of “green energy” and to finally put an end to the reliance on Russian energy.

Regardless, it seems that the only ones who benefit from this “green energy” are the companies and liberal politicians.

Trump urges Putin to hand over dirt on Hunter Biden

While the Russian invasion of Ukraine is ongoing, former president Donald Trump urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to hand over documents that may include Hunter Biden’s dealings with Russian oligarchs.

Trump said he was particularly interested in the alleged $3.5 million payment from the former mayor of Moscow’s widow to a company co-founded by Biden.

“Why did the mayor of Moscow’s wife give the Bidens $3.5 million? That’s a lot of money. She gave him $3.5 million. So now I would think Putin would know the answer to that. I think he should release it. I think we should know the answer,” Trump said.

Trump also accused Biden of a “conflict of interest” after he was sanctioned by Moscow, along with other U.S. officials and his son.

Further, Trump alleged that Biden failed to react more strongly to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine because of the payments made to them from the late mayor’s wife.

Days after Trump’s accusations came, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was questioned over why Baturina had not been sanctioned by the U.S. over Russia’s attack despite apparent ties to the Kremlin. Questions also arose regarding Biden’s involvement in the matter.

While Biden himself was not implicated in the report released in September 2020, it did argue that Hunter Biden’s time working on the board of the Burisma could have presented a conflict of interest for the Obama administration. As Obama’s vice president, Biden was leading the anti-corruption efforts in Kyiv at the time. (Related: The plot thickens: Hunter Biden investment firm funded Ukraine biolabs.)
